Ingredients

- 1 liter of water
- 4–5 tablespoons of tea (black, green, or herbal)
- 2–3 tablespoons of sugar (or honey, to taste)
- Optional: Lemon slices
- Optional: Fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- Boil the water: Start by boiling 1 liter of water in a pot. Wait for it to reach a light boil.
- Prepare the tea: Once the water is hot, add the chosen tea. Stir well and cover the pot. Let it steep for 5-7 minutes.
- Strain the tea: After steeping, use a strainer to filter the tea and remove the leaves.
- Sweeten: Add sugar or honey to the hot tea and stir until completely dissolved.
- Cool: Transfer the strained tea to a large container and let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Serve: When ready to serve, stir the tea well. You can garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves for an elegant presentation.
Notes
Try adding fresh ginger or berries during steeping for a unique flavor. Ensure tea is not too hot when transferring to the refrigerator to preserve flavor.
