Instructions

  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

  6. Stir in the chopped apples or pumpkin puree, and optional nuts or chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in the dish for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
