- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add honey, milk, and vanilla. Mix until dough forms.
- Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness on floured surface.
- Cut into rectangles or squares. Prick each with a fork.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges turn golden brown.
- Cool completely before serving or storing.
Notes
- Store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks
- For crispier crackers, bake 1-2 minutes longer
- Dough can be frozen for later use
