- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or olive oil
- A small bowl
- A spoon
- A soft cloth or sponge
- Warm water
- Dish soap
Instructions
- Mix the baking soda and oil in a small bowl until a thick paste forms.
- Peel away as much of the paper label as you can by hand.
- Spread a generous layer of the mixture over the sticky residue.
- Allow the paste to sit for about 5 to 10 minutes.
- Rub the area with gentle circular motions until the adhesive begins lifting away.
- Rinse the item with warm water and wash it with a little dish soap to remove any remaining oil.
Notes
Always test the paste on a small, hidden area first, especially on painted, finished, or delicate surfaces.
